Saints Peter and Paul School is excited to share details about Santa’s Secret Shop, scheduled for Thursday, December 9th and Friday, December 10th.
WHAT IS SANTA’S SECRET SHOP?
Santa’s Secret Shop is an event for all students (Pre-K through 8th Grade) to get in the Christmas spirit by shopping for the special family and friends on their list!
The shop will be stocked with quality merchandise, reasonably priced between $1-$10. In addition to regular items, we also offer a selection of fair-trade items. Merchandise is originally purchased by the school at cost, then sold at the shop with a minimal mark-up. The proceeds from the shop benefit a charitable cause, as well as specific school initiatives.
HOW CAN YOU AND YOUR STUDENT BE INVOLVED?
On the evening of December 8th, we will need volunteers to help set-up and decorate. On December 9th and 10th, we will need volunteers to help the kids shop, monitor the merchandise tables, be cashiers, and clean-up. Please note that you must have all clearances in order to participate in Santa’s Secret Shop. A sign up will be made available shortly on the HSA website for these volunteer opportunities. Students who wish to participate can bring in money to shop with their classmates on Thursday, December 9th (grades K-8) and Friday, December 10th (Pre-K 3 and Pre-K 4). Each class will have a designated shopping time during the school day.
Note: We also plan to provide a budgeting tool to ensure your student is prepared for their shopping.

We have several Volunteer Opportunities for you to support this student-favorite event! On Wednesday, December 8th, we will need help with the Shop Set-Up and Decorating. On Thursday, December 9th, and Friday, December 10th, we will need volunteers to assist as cashiers and shopping assistants at Santa’s Secret Shop. *Please note that volunteers must have all clearances and wear a mask in order to volunteer at Santa’s Secret Shop. Younger siblings cannot attend the Shop with parent volunteers.*
